Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open

Enjoy a premium experience and witness outstanding golf
First established in 1972, The Scottish Open has been played over a variety of prestigious courses, including St. Andrews, Gleneagles, Loch Lomond and Castle Stuart Golf Links.

Traditionally the prelude to The Open Championship and its often picturesque and testing venues, The Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open is often used as the final tune-up for the best players in the world before battling out for Golf's oldest and final major of the season.

The Venue

The Renaissance GC - Scotland
The Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open will return to East Lothian in 2020 when The Renaissance Club hosts Scotland’s National Open on the European Tour for the second time in a row.

Founded in 2008, The Renaissance Club nestles on 300 picturesque acres along the Firth of Forth and is one of the newest additions to the world-famous stretch known as Scotland’s Golf Coast. Designed by renowned golf course architect Tom Doak, who is known for minimalist designs that incorporate the natural features of the land, the course has quickly become established as another East Lothian golfing gem.
